Oprah Winfrey Visits India for OPRAH'S NEXT CHAPTER

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oprah Winfrey is currently in Mumbai India this week in order to shoot footage for her new TV series OPRAH'S NEXT CHAPTER. The talk show host will reportedly remain in the country until January 22nd.

Among her planned destinations will be a visit with Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan, a three-day visit to the Jaipur Literature Festival, an interview with author Deepak Chopra and a visit with the royal family at their home, Jaipur City Palace.

Winfrey also plans to shoot footage for an upcoming special entitled 'India Experience' which will include visits to the Taj Mahal in Agra, the holy city of Rishikesh and the capital Delhi and Mumbai. 

OPRAH'S NEXT CHAPTER airs Sunday's 9/8c on OWN.
