ONE LIFE TO LIVE Star Nathaniel Marston on Life Support Following Car Accident

Variety reports that actor Nathaniel Marston, a veteran of the long running soap opera ONE LIFE TO LIVE is currently listed in critical condition and has been on life support following a car accident this weekend, according to posts on his mother, Elizabeth Jackson's Facebook page.

On Saturday Jackson posted: "Please pray for my son Nathaniel Marston," she wrote. "He was in a car accident last night and is in the intensive care on life support. Back and neck broken in several places. Other internal injuries. Please pray that he will recover and walk again."

On Sunday, she shared the sad news that her son's prognosis did not look positive: "If he lives he will be paralyzed from the neck down and will not breathe without a ventilator machine", adding later that his shoulder is broken, along with all of his ribs. He also suffered a collapsed lung.

The actor appeeared on ONE LIFE TO LIVE for six years. He left the daytime drama in 2007. He also portrayed
Eddie Silva on "As the World Turns" and guest starred on episodes of "Castle," "White Collar" and "Blue Bloods."
