TVGuide.com reports that former ONE LIFE TO LIVE coordinating producer Jennifer Pepperman has been named the new showrunner for the daytime drama. Pepperman served as a coordinating producer from 1998 to 2000, and as an associate director in 2010. In addition, she helmed episodes of both One Life to Live and As the World Turns, and garnered an Emmy award in 2007.

In ONE LIFE TO LIVE, the good people of Llanview, Pennsylvania, lead complicated lives. In a town of questionable marriage ethics, teenagers grow up fast and fall in love quickly. The quiet simplicity of small-town living on the Llantano River is frequently upset by an over-abundance of multiple personalities who disturb the peace.

Despite the jealousy, betrayal, and occasional baby-swapping, Llanview is where the Buchanan, Lord, and Cramer families struggle to retain the strong family ties that have always united them.
