New Lead Announced To Star Alongside Chris Hemsworth In MEN IN BLACK Spinoff
According to Variety, Tessa Thompson is set to star alongside Chris Hemsworth in the upcoming spinoff of MEN IN BLACK. The two starred alongside each other in THOR: RAGNAROK. The upcoming spinoff would have the two stars as the new Men In Black agents, roles which have in the past belong to Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith.
F. Gary Gray (FATE OF THE FURIOUS) is set to direct the picture, which has a pending release date of May 17, 2019. Matt Holloway and Art Marcum, writers of IRON MAN, have penned the script.
In addition to THOR: RAGNAROK, Thompson is know for her roles in CREED, AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR, SELMA, and ANNIHILATION. She also starred in Second Stage's 2016 production of MSART PEOPLE. Hemsworth is known for his work in 12 STRONG, GHOSTBUSTERS, and HOME AND AWAY. Read more about the casting news from Variety here!
