Netflix Adds Animated DIABLO Series to Lineup

Boom! Studios founder Andy Cosby tweeted that he's in "final talks" to write and show-run the upcoming animated "Diablo" series from Activision and Netflix, according to Variety. "It's very exciting and I hope to the High Heavens it all works out," he said.

Cosby, unfortunately, has deleted the tweet, which most likely means that this news will be announced in an official capacity at some point in the future.

There is no information on the series as of now.

Diablo is an action role-playing hack and slash dungeon crawler video game series developed by Blizzard Entertainment (and Blizzard North). The series is made up of three games: Diablo, Diablo II, and Diablo III.

"Diablo III" is currently returning to the public eye with the "Diablo III Eternal Collection" for Nintendo Switch, which is being released on November 2nd as a Switch exclusive. The original "Diablo III" came out in 2012.
