Neil Patrick Harris will host Saturday Night Live on January 10th. SNL airs at 11:30/10:30c. Taylor Swift will be the musical guest.

Harris got his start in acting at 16 when he starred in Steven Bochco's 'Doogie Howser, M.D.' After the show ended in 1993, Harris took up stage acting. He played the role of Mark Cohen in the L.A. production of RENT, and made his Broadway debut in 'Proof.' He also appeared on stage in 'Romeo and Juliet,' 'Cabaret,' 'Sweeney Todd' in concert and 'Assassins.' He became a cult favorite with help from his role in the film 'Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle.'

He currently holds a starring role in the sitcom 'How I Met Your Mother' and recently played the title role in the web-exclusive comedy 'Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along,' which became the number one TV series for five weeks.
