Ne-Yo in 'Talks' to Join Next Season of THE X FACTOR

At a recent press event in January, recording artist Ne-Yo revealed that he was in talks to join the next season of the FOX singing competition THE X FACTOR. There's been a few lunches and dinners, but that's all I can say right now," he shared.

At yesterday's Grammy Awards red carpet, Ne-Yo fueled speculation that he may be filling one of the empty judging seats left behind by last season's LA Reid and Britney Spears, telling host Ryan Seacret, "It's conversation. Nothing is set in stone right yet. It's talks."

Ne-Yo was nominated at the 2013 Grammy Awards in the 'Best Dance Recording' category for his featured work on Calvin Harris's song 'Let's Go'.

Ne-Yo released his debut album, In My Own Words, in 2006 which contained the US number one hit "So Sick", as well as the top 10 hit "Sexy Love". In 2007, he released his second album, Because of You, which contained the US top 3 hit, Because of You.

In 2008, he released his third album, Year of the Gentleman, which contained the top 10 hits Closer, Mad and Miss Independent. His fourth studio album, Libra Scale, was released on November 22, 2010. In 2009, Billboard ranked him as the 57th Artist of the 2000s decade. In addition to a successful recording career, Ne-Yo has amassed a catalog of chart-topping songs that he has written for other artists.
