NBC's THE VOICE is #1 for Tuesday Night

"The Voice 6" (3.0/10 in 18-49, 11.8 million viewers overall from 8-9:01 p.m. ET) ranks as the #1 show of the night in adults 18-49 and is #1 in its time period among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 and other key measures. "The Voice" is currently retaining 91% of last week's 3.3 in these preliminary fast-national ratings and 88% of last week's 3.4 in official nationals. Last night's "Voice" jumped substantially from half-hour to half-hour in all key measures, including gains of +22% in adults 18-49 (to a 3.3 from a 2.7), +25% in adults 25-54 (4.5 vs. 3.6) and +30% in adults 18-34 (2.6 vs. 2.0).
"The Voice" is #1 in The Hour among the Big 4 nets by a 30% margin in adults 18-49 (3.0 vs. 2.3 for CBS's #2 "NCIS"). "About a Boy" (2.1/6 in 18-49, 7.5 million viewers overall from 9:01-9:31 p.m. ET) is currently up 5% versus last week's 2.0 rating in 18-49 and has remained impressively consistent early in its run, having remained in the 2.0-2.1 range now for the last four weeks in a row, with this track of originals since the show's first telecast on Saturday, Feb. 22: 2.2, 2.5, 2.0, 2.1, 2.0, 2.1, In the time period, "About a Boy" ranks within 0.2 of the time-period lead among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and is #1 among those nets in women 18-49 and adult 18-34. "Growing Up Fisher" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 6.1 million viewers overall from 9:31-10 p.m. ET) has also remained impressively consistent early in its run, having stayed in the 1.7-1.8 range for the last four weeks in a row in 18-49. "Growing Up Fisher" is still within 0.2 of the 1.9 rating for the show's first regular-slot original on Feb. 25. The "Fisher" 18-49 track since that initial Tuesday first-run on Feb. 25 is: 1.9, 1.7, 1.8, 1.7, 1.7. Despite the addition of original comedy competition on ABC this week, "Growing Up Fisher" is currently matching last week's 18-49 rating.In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.9/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.4/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "Tonight," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3. From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters. From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.4/3). At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
