"Grimm" generates its most-watched episode since May 2015

"Grimm" maintains 100% of last season's finale in 18-49, grows +11% in total viewers, also tops its year-ago Oct. 30 9 P.M. season premiere in total viewers.

"Emerald City" builds on its lead-in.

Last season's "Grimm" originals grew by +89% on average going from L+SD to L+7.

Friday Primetime Ratings:

The sixth season debut of "Grimm" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET):

· Delivers the show's most watched episode since May 15, 2015 (4.7 million) with the 2014-15 season finale, while matching its best 18-49 rating since March 18 (1.0).

· Maintains 100% of last May's season finale in adults 18-49 (0.9 vs. 0.9 from 8-10 p.m. on May 20) and grows +13% versus the show's May sweep average (0.9 vs. 0.8).

· In total viewers, grows +11% versus last season's finale (4.460 million vs. 4.032 million) and +17% versus how "Grimm" ended last season over the course of the May sweep (4.460 million vs. 3.822 million).

· Equals NBC's highest in-season 18-49 rating in the time period, excluding Christmas specials, since May 15, 2015(1.1) and delivers the network's top total-viewer figure in the hour in season since that same date (4.7 million viewers).

· Finishes within 0.2 in 18-49 of the show's year-ago season premiere, which ran at 9 p.m. the night before Halloween (0.9 vs. 1.1 from 9-10 p.m. on Oct. 30, 2015) and grows +10% versus last year's finale in total viewers (4.460 million vs. 4.043 million).

· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - "Grimm" first-runs grew by +89% last season in 18-49 rating (from a 0.89 to a 1.68) and +2.3 million viewers overall (4.0 million to 6.3 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

The debut of "Emerald City" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET):

· Builds on its lead-in in 18-49 (+11%, 1.0 vs. 0.9) and in total viewers (4.475 million vs. 4.460 million).

· Maintains 100% of NBC's time-period average in the slot last season in 18-49 (1.0 vs. 1.0, L+SD excluding sports) and 99.9% in total viewers (4.475 million vs. 4.480 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.1/5 with an encore telecast; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.8/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.3/6 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/3 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.9/4 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.6/5 in metered-market households and a 0.6/4 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.1/3 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.4/4 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.3/2 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
