NBC Wins Monday Night Ratings Among Big 4 Networks in Total Viewers

Monday Primetime Results (Note that ABC stations in Detroit, Los Angeles and San Francisco and The CW station in New York carried NFL football, and downward adjustments to those network's averages are expected in official nationals):

NBC wins Monday night among the Big 4 networks in total viewers.

The season finale of "American Ninja Warrior" (1.2/5 in 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET):

· Equals the show's season high in adults 18-49 (last achieved on Wednesday, June 6, with "Ninja's" second original of the season) and delivers the show's second most-watched episode of the season (behind only 5.9 million for the Aug. 27 episode).

· Is the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in total viewers.

· This is the fifth week in a row "Ninja" has been Monday's most-watched show.

· Jumps +20% versus last week's 1.0 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings in 18-49 and +9% versus last week's 1.1 in official nationals.

· In total viewers, is up +17% versus last week's fast-affiliate 4.798 million and +16% versus last week's 4.851 million in official nationals.

· Ranks #1 for the two-hour 8-10 p.m. timeslot in total viewers.

· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - last week's "Ninja" increased by +17% in 18-49 (from 1.05 rating to a 1.23) and +560,000 viewers overall (4.9 million to 5.4 million) going from "live plus same day" Nielsens to L+3.

· Upscale: "Ninja" generates a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 120 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes (with 100 representing an average concentration of those homes).

An encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (0.6/3 in 18-49, 3.2 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):

· Is currently tied for #1 in the timeslot among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.5/4; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 3.0/8; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.5/4.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.5/3; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.0/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.2/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.5/2 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
