NBC News to Air March on Washington 50th Anniversary Coverage Tomorrow

NBC News will continue to commemorate the 50th anniversary of The March on Washington and Martin Luther King Jr.'s iconic "I have a dream" speech with special cross-platform coverage and interactive social media engagement on Wednesday, August 28.

Beginning at 11am ET, NBCNews.com will live-stream the full "Let Freedom Ring Commemoration and Call to Action" event taking place on the National Mall in Washington, DC.

Beginning at 2pm ET, NBCNews.com will stream a fully-produced digital broadcast anchored by Lester Holt live from the Lincoln Memorial, joined by NBC News political director and chief White House correspondent Chuck Todd and NBC News contributor Charlayne Hunter-Gault, one of the first two African-American students to attend the University of Georgia.

At approximately 2:40pm ET, coverage of President Obama's remarks will be carried live on the NBC broadcast network in a continuation of the special report anchored by Holt with Todd and Hunter-Gault.

At 6:30pm ET, Holt will anchor "NBC Nightly News" from Washington, DC with additional coverage of the anniversary and the day's events.
