Deadline reports that Miriam Shor has joined the cast of the new TV Land comedy YOUNGER as a series regular. The single-camera comedy pilot stars Broadway's Sutton Foster, who was last seen on TV in ABC Family's Bunheads.

Written and executive produced by Darren Star. Younger follows Liza (Foster), "a 40-something woman who reinvents herself and starts living a double life; one as a suburban mom and another as a 29-year old working girl in the city, after her husband leaves her and her child goes to college."

Shor will portray Diana, the uptight head of PR for Passion Press known as "a disdainful woman who likes to get ahead by standing on the shoulder of her subordinates as she slowly pushes them into the mud."

Shor played business mogul Cricket Caruth-Reilly on the recent short-lived ABC nighttime drama GCB, a series which also starred Kristin Chenoweth. Her other TV credits include The Good Wife, Damages, Swingtown and MildrEd Pierce. Film credits include "The Cake Eaters" and "Hedwig and the Angry Inch"

Foster, whose Broadway credits include Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Drowsy Chaperone, Young Frankenstein, Shrek the Musical and Anything Goes will soon return to the stage in Violet this spring.
