Minnie Driver to Star in NBC Comedy Pilot LADY FRIENDS

According to TVLine.com, actress Minnie Driver is set to star in the upcoming NBC comedy pilot LADY FRIENDS. Driver will star opposite Andrea Anders in the Keri Lizer comedy. 

LADY FRIENDS tells the story of "two life-long female pals who are living very different lives but can’t live without each other. Driver will play Jen, who has made some terrible life decisions, including a 17-day marriage to a guy who dumped her, but is Nicole’s (Anders) rock. It was recenlty announced that Cougar Town‘s Josh Hopkins will portray the role of Nicole's husband in the project.

Driver's screen credits include the upcoming The Simpsons Movie, The Phantom of the Opera, Beautiful, Return to Me, An Ideal Husband, The Governess, Good Will Hunting (for which she received an Oscar nomination), Gross Pointe Blank and Circle of Friends. She has been seen on TV in "Will & Grace," as Lorraine, and currently appears on "The Riches."
