Don't you...forget Saturday, Aug. 24 as The Elks Theatre presents a 35mm screening of John Hughes' 1985 coming-of-age film, The Breakfast Club. This feature, part of the Theatre's Cult Corner Series, will be shown at 9:30 p.m. There will be a prize giveaway just before the start of the feature.

General admission tickets are $8 and can be purchased at the door or at elksbo.weebly.com.

Since October 2012, the Elks Theatre's Repertory Film series has been met with rousing success, with 35mm screenings of such cinematic classics as John Carpenter's The Thing, Michael Curtiz's adaptation of White Christmas, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and Back to the Future. Throughout June, the Elks presented "Spielberg Fest," which featured four of the maestro's major works: E.T., Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jaws and Saving Private Ryan.
