Mickie Steinmann Promoted to SVP, Managing Director Warner Bros Int'l Television Distribution

Mickie Steinmann has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Managing Director, Canada, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution, it was announced today by Jeffrey R. Schlesinger, President, Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Distribution.

Based in Toronto, Steinmann will continue to oversee sales of the Warner Bros. television series, theatrical motion pictures, animated product and movies for television for different platforms (Free, Pay TV, Basic Cable and SVOD) in Canada. He has served as Vice President & General Manager, Canadian Operations since 2006 having joined WBITD in 2000 as Vice President, Sales, with oversight of Scandinavia, Benelux, Israel and the Middle East. He will continue to report to Jim Brehm, Executive Vice President, Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.

"As our television business continues to transform into new business models, windows and platforms, Mickie has done an outstanding job managing and growing our business in Canada. We are pleased to recognize his achievements with this promotion, and are confident he will drive our business forward in this important market."

Prior to his roles at WBITD, Steinman was Vice President, Sales, handling Scandinavia, Benelux, Finland, Israel and pan regional Middle Eastern satellite services for Columbia TriStar International Television. Previously, he served as Vice President, International Television Sales for Gaumont in Paris, Vice President, International Sales for FOX Lorber International, and Director, International Sales for Alfred Haber, Inc. Steinmann began his career as an intern at All American Television, followed by a two year stint as a television market analyst at HRP, Inc.
