TVLine reports exclusively that Michael Raymond-James has been promoted to a series regular for the upcoming third season of ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME. The news was revealed to the site by series co-creator ADAM HOROWITZ at ABC's Upfront party yesterday.

The actor was first seen on the fantasy drama in the role of Emma's ex-husband and Henry's father Neal Cassidy aka Baelfire in the episode titled "Tallahassee." Since that time, he has appeared in a number of Season Two episodes "as Rumple discovered his son in New York City and circumstances then led them back to Storybrooke."

Raymond-James is best known for playing Rene Lenier in the first season of HBO's series True Blood and Britt Pollack on FX's series Terriers.
