Michael McKean to Guest Star on ABC's HAPPY ENDINGS

As first reported on TVline.com, actor Michael McKean has been cast in the popular ABC comedy HAPPY ENDINGS in the role of patriarch of the Ross family. 

Adding a twist to the ABC sophomore comedy, McKean's character will introduce his family to the new love in his life, daughter-in-law Penny's mother, played by actress Megan Mullally

Michael McKean began his career on television, appearing in the ABC comedy 'Laverne and Shirley' which premiered in 1976.  His film work has included the documentary spoofs 'This Is Spinal Tap' and 'A Mighty Wind'.  On Broadway he has appeared in the revival of 'Pajama Game', as well as Harold Pinter's 'The Homecoming' and most recently, 'Superior Donuts.'

The episode of HAPPY ENDINGS is slated to begin filming next week and will air sometime in early 2012.
