According to Deadline.com, the CBS network has just picked up a potential comedy series which is produced by the star of one of the network's hits shows, 'Mike & Molly'. The untitled comedy is from comedian Melissa McCarthy and was scripted by McCarthy's husband, actor and writer Ben Falcone and actor Larry Dorf.

The series will tell the story of David Gell, a 37-year-old who still resides with his parents. The series could potentially be picked up for the upcoming cycle.

The McCarthy and Falcone team already have a comedy scheduled with CBS which centers on a 45-year-old woman in the midst of a mid life crisis. That project, currently untitled as well, was penned by McCarthy and Falcone and marks the first time the actress has sold a pilot script to a network.

McCarthy recently won an Emmy award for her role in the CBS comedy 'Mike & Molly'.
