At yesterday's Comedy Central Roast of James Franco, Glee star Matthew Morrison spoke to EOnline about shooting the upcoming October 10th tribute episode for late co-star Cory Monteith.

"We're in The Middle of filming it, and it's incredibly hard," the actor shared. "We've mourned Cory, but now we're mourning Finn. So it's kind of like two people in that one person."

He added, "It's incredibly hard and we're staying strong together and I have to say Lea [Michele] has been the most strongest of all of us."

The singer and Broadway vet believes the experience has brought the cast and crew even closer. "I think we all knew we were very close but I think this just kind of solidified it like we are a rock for each other right now," he said. "It's quite a beautiful thing."

Set entirely in Lima, Ohio, home of fictional McKinley High, where Hudson enjoyed four years as star quarterback, the episode titled 'The Quarterback' will begin with the tragic news of the athlete's death before going on "to focus on all the characters remembering and mourning him, and celebrating his life."

Lea Michele, who portrays Rachel Berry, the on again-off again girlfriend of Finn, will not be seen until the final scene. While her appearance is brief, her performance is "incredibly powerful." A musical number performed by Michele's character will also be featured.
