Matt Long, Maury Sterling Join Cast of ABC PILOT GILDED LILYS

According to The Hollywood Reporter, actors Matt Long, Maury Sterling and Brigid Brannagh have joined the cast of Shonda Rhimes upcoming ABC drama pilot GILDED LILYS. The actors will join previously announced cast members Brian F. O'Byrne, Blythe Danner, Sarah Bolger and Madeline Zima.

Set in 1895, the pilot tells the story of the opening of the "first luxury hotel in New York City and the stories of love, treachery and disdain between the classes set against a backdrop of vicious family rivalries, scandalous secrets and conflict and co-mingling of the classes." During this historic time period, the Lily family sits at the top of New York's elite society, yet their financial and societal position is threatened by a family scandal.  

Matt Long, best known for his role on 'Mad Men' will portray the lead role of John Kidd, while Sterling, who has appeared on TV's 'Homeland', will play Jasper. 'Army Wives' actress Brannagh will take on the role of Elizabeth Lily.
