Martin Scorsese, Bruce Springsteen, Oprah Winfrey, Ava Duvernay to Headline Netflix's Fysee Showcase

Netflix announced today that iconic filmmaker, Martin Scorsese, legendary musician Bruce Springsteen, media mogul Oprah Winfrey and groundbreaking filmmaker Ava DuVernay will headline the opening and closing week events in its third-annual FYSEE experience at Raleigh Studios, May 5 - June 9. Oscar®- and Emmy®-winning director Scorsese (The Irishman) and Grammy- and Tony Award®- winning musician Springsteen (Springsteen on Broadway) will appear together for an unforgettable opening night on Sunday, May 5. Closing the star-studded Emmy® FYSEE showcase on Sunday, June 9 will be a special conversation, hosted by multiple Emmy®-winner, Winfrey, with Emmy®-winner, Ava DuVernay, the cast of their new limited event series, When They See Us, and the real-life men the series is based on - debuting May 31 on Netflix.

During its run, FYSEE will host dozens of insightful and in-depth curated conversations, performances, wall-to-wall displays that take visitors inside their favorite series, and special themed events featuring Ellen DeGeneres, Quincy Jones, the return of David Letterman among many others, as well as top creatives from in front of and behind the camera. A full schedule of events will highlight some of Netflix's most acclaimed content, including dramas Bodyguard, House of Cards, Ozark and The Umbrella Academy; comedies Russian Doll, The Kominsky Method, GLOW and debuting series Dead to Me; animated series BoJack Horseman, Disenchantment and Big Mouth; documentary series Our Planet, Making a Murderer Part 2, and Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes; fan favorites like QUEER EYE and Patriot Act With Hasan Minhaj; and food shows Salt Fat Acid Heat, CHEF'S TABLE and Nailed It!.

32,000-square-foot soundstages will house a state-of-the-art 400-seat theater hosting For Your Consideration screenings and curated panels, and a reception space where guests will have the one-of-a-kind opportunity to mingle with Netflix stars and creators.

The exhibit will feature an activation space where attendees can experience moments from Netflix's critically acclaimed shows, visit themed cocktail bars, and immerse themselves in set re-creations of top dramas, comedies, specials, documentary series and more.

FYSEE will also host new specialty programming for guild members and industry attendees including: "GLOW Binge-a-thon," an all-day binge-watching experience with GLOW cast members, and a fun throwback to high school with "Prom Night," where visitors can save the last dance to connect with casts and creators from titles including Sex Education, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, On My Block and others.

Returning this year are fan-favorite events and themed nights such as "Rebels and Rulebreakers," "Scene Stealers," "Netflix Is a Joke," "Change in Focus," and "Food Day." In addition, special artisan days with events and panels will include a "Costume Designers' Showcase," "The Music of Netflix," and "Crafts Day."
