Mark Consuelos Joins Cast of FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY

As first reported on EWonline, Mark Consuelos will join the cast of FX's popular drama series AMERICAN HORROR STORY. Production on the show's second season begins this week. The actor will portray a patient named 'Spivey'.  

The actor joins cast members Jessica Lange, James Cromwell, Joseph Fiennes, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Zachary Quinto, Adam Levine, Chloe Sevigny, and Lizzie Brochere in the new season, which follows the lives of patients who reside in an institution for the criminally insane.

Consuelos is best known for his role on ABC's daytime drama All My Children. Since leaving the series, he has starred in the feature film The Great Raid, which debuted in theatres in 2005. In 2006, he appeared in the movie My Super Ex-Girlfriend as "Steve", and in 2007 he appeared in Wedding Daze. He has been seen on the Lifetime series Missing and ABC's Ugly Betty.
