Mariana Klaveno Cast as 'Lily' in NBC's MUNSTERS Reboot

Deadline.com reports that Mariana Klaveno has been cast as Lily Munster in NBC's upcoming Munsters reboot titlEd MockINGBIRD LANE. According to the report, the casting is contingent upon Klaveno being released from a prior committment to the Lifetime pilot 'Devious Maids.' Kaveno would join previously announced cast members Jerry O'Connell, Mason Cook and Eddie Izzard on the remake of the 1960's sitcom. 

Written by Bryan Fuller and to be directed by Bryan Singer, Mockingbird Lane will be written by Bryan Fuller and directed by Bryan Singer. It is described as "a reinvention of the 1960s sitcom about The Munsters, a family of "monsters" - vampires, werewolves and Frankenstein, and their "plain" cousin (Charity Wakefield)."

Klaveno is best known for her role as Lorena Ball in HBO's True Blood. She became a series regular in season 2 and 3, playing the part of the "maker" of the main character Bill Compton. She also starred in the feature film While the Children Sleep in the role of Abby Read. She has guest starred in TV show episodes of Standoff, ER and Dexter.
