Mamma Mia's Jordan Dean to Develop New Film THE LODGER

Broadway star Jordan Dean (Mamma Mia) will team up with Tony Nominated Producer Antonio Marion (Big Fish, Evita) to develop and produce a new film The Lodger which is expected to shoot next summer, 2014 in London.

The Lodger, a romantic drama follows a young American actor in London who falls in love with a British artist from a different generation of life. The film will follow their short affair and the impact that it has on those around them. It's expected to be released in the summer of 2015.

Jordan Dean is known for his turns in Mamma Mia, Cymbeline, and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. He was most recently seen in the Manchester International Festival's Macbeth directed by Rob Ashford and Kenneth Branagh. Some of his other theater and film credits include As You Like It (NYSF), The New Century (Lincoln Center), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Classic Stage Company), Romeo and Juliet (Actors Theater of Louisville), Burning Blue, Virgin Alexander and the upcoming Thanks for Sharing directed by Stuart Blumberg.

Antonio Marion, who is one of Broadway's youngest produces garned a Tony Nomination for his role on the producing team of the 2012 revival of Evita which starred Grammy Award Winning sensation Ricky Martin. His other Broadway/Theater credits include Ghost, The Sunshine Boys and White Noise. Marion's Television & Film credits include Recursion, The Next Big Thing:NY & America's Worst Tattoos on TLC. Marion is currently on the producing team of Big Fish, which begins previews this September at Broadway's Neil Simon Theatre.
