Fifteen years later to the date, MTV2, MTV's male targeted youth network, today announced that Sucker Free Countdown will present a special episode on Sunday, March 25th at 11pm ET/PT honoring the 15th anniversary of the release of Notorious B.I.G.'s best and most prolific final studio LP Life After Death. "Sucker Free Presents: Life After Death - 15 Years Later" will feature Sucker Free host DJ Envy along with special co-host Lil Kim, and guests Lil Cease, Nas, Ice Cube, Fabolous, Red Man, Mac Miller, Styles, DJ Premier, Pete Rock and Chiddy Bang remembering and reacting to the album's legacy and lasting impact on hip-hop and pop-culture.

On March 25, 1997, the Life After Death double album was released posthumously to critical praise. The album crossed over to become a commercial success, featuring collaborations with guest artists such as JAY-Z, Lil Kim, Mase, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Run-DMC, R. Kelly, Kelly Price and Puff Daddy, among others, and is credited as one of the first LPs to stylistically shift gangsta rap to the mainstream.

Coming off its most successful year ever, "Sucker Free Countdown" airs every Sunday on MTV2, featuring two-hours of exclusive interviews, sneak peeks, 'day in the life profiles,' and docu-style reporting with hip-hop's most legendary & buzzworthy celebrities, plus a countdown of the hottest hip-hop videos of the week.

MTV2 targets young men with smart, funny and relevant content, including music, comedic and action-oriented original programming such as Guy Code, The DUB Magazine Project, 120 Minutes, Nitro Circus Live, Bellator Fighting Championships and the dominant hip-hop franchise, Sucker Free.
