MTV to Ring in the New Year With Snooki Drop, Comedic Bash of 2010 et al 12/31

Hosted by comedian and rising star Whitney Cummings, MTV's "New Years Bash 2011" will provide a comedic look back at 2010 and feature appearances by members of the cast of Jersey Shore, "Saturday Night Live's" Bobby Moynihan, comedian Nick Kroll, Internet sensation Keenan Cahill, "Pretty Little Liars" cast members Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, Shay Mitchell plus two performances from hip-hop artist Flo Rida. The special will debut live on MTV and MTV2 from MTV's Times Square Studio on December 31 at 10:30pm ET (tape delay PT).

Whitney will be joined outside by the hosts of MTV's afternoon show The Seven, Kevin Manno & Julie Alexandria, along with members of the cast of Jersey Shore, who will not only work to entice the crowds of Times Square to set the Guinness World Record for the most people fist pumping, but also introduce an extended first look at the upcoming third season which returns on January 6. In addition, Pauly D will serve as the house DJ. Hip hop sensation Flo Rida will perform two songs, including his smash hit single "Club Can't Handle Me." Slightly before midnight, MTV viewers will watch Snooki as she is lowered in a ball to MTV's rooftop deck to ring in the New Year.
