I was a very avid HAPPY ENDINGS fan, but found the series after it had sadly been cancelled. When I heard about Casey Wilson's new show, I was thoroughly excited, but also a little worried that it would be the same old gags and jokes from her previous show. I was very excited to find out that there is nothing to worry about because MARRY ME is a very different, but still quirky Casey Wilson, surrounded by an equally entertaining cast of secondary characters.

Last week, we watched as Casey and Jake began to ponder the idea of possibly getting prepared to think about talking about having kids. We also endured the struggle of Jake worrying about his infertility and the even bigger struggle of Jake and Annie trying to remember the name of their so-called friend, the OBGYN, brilliantly played by John Ross Bowie (THE BIG BANG THEORY). This week's episode offers even more hilarity as Rob Riggle (21 JUMP STREET, MODERN FAMILY) and Natasha Leggero (SUBURGATORY, GARFUNKEL AND OATES) who were both in LET'S BE COPS, don their badges once again in order to solve the mystery of who watched the finale of Jake and Annie's favorite tv show.

There are certain times when we see ourselves in characters on TV, and tonight on MARRY ME is one of them. Annie and Jake are really into "their" show The Moors, which has everything - nudity, pagentry, stabbing. Who could ask for anything more? Uh oh, it seems as though someone has already watched the finale! Was it Jake? Annie?

Annie's two dads bound into the restaurant the next morning freaking out about the episode of The Moors, but are saddened to hear that neither Jake nor Annie has watched it because of the whole debaucle the night before. It seems as though Annie's dad was caught masturbating to Lincoln...not the one you're thinking of - the car commercial with Mcconaughey.

Meanwhile, Dennah gets a parking ticket and we hear a police siren. Enter Rob Riggle, playing her new boyfriend, Gary Thicke and Natasha Leggero, playing his partner, Laguna Matada...yes, you read that correctly. Now that Dennah's dating a cop, it seems as though she has diplomatic immunity.

Thankfully, Jake and Annie quickly get over the whole Moors incident, knowing that it was one of their friends who watched it. However it's quickly discovered it wasn't one of them, so Dennah suggests a polygraph test that Gary can administer. Jake and Annie both put on a brave face and insist they have nothing to hide, but Jake quietly admits to Gil that he's super busted. In the bathroom, Jake blames it on Sports Authority and their cross promotion with The Moors, which means Annie is the one who watched it on their TV, making her a liar. To be fair, Jake also lied but whatever. He plans on having her take the test first because if she fails, then he won't have to take it.

Gary and Laguna show up with both their polygraph machines, named Polly and Jonathan, meaning they'll have to take the test at the same time. Kay tries to convince Gil that Laguna is into him, resulting in him running after her asking for a date, which she accepts. As the polygraph machine is getting calibrated we learn that Annie's full name is Annie Evita Flecher and Jake's is Jacob Herbert Shuffman. Lovely right? Another hilarious moment, after Jake asks Annie if she's actually voted for anything other than an M&M flavor or American Idol, Annie says that she has - she voted for the black guy...in the Buzzfeed HAPPY ENDINGS poll. Yay for promoting your own cancelled show, Casey Wilson!

After a complicated back and forth question session between Annie and Jake, it seems as though neither of them lied, but Jake might think Annie is a heartless sociopath like the Hamburglar. Annie storms off in a tangled mess of wires.

Dennah starts breaking laws thinking that she's untouchable because of Gary. Gil is so nervous about his date with Laguna that he thinks he'll just fake his own death, with Dennah and Kay say he can't just go and do. Jake comes home and finds Annie's dad Kevin (Tim Meadows) watching The Moors in he and Annie's bedroom. Jake and Kevin get into a little argument once Kevin finds out that Jake, in fact, did watch The Moors without Annie.

At work, Annie is in a meeting called in order to discuss The Moors finale, which she calls Post Moors Postmortem, revealing that she always watches the show live at work. She also reveals that the finale was so shocking that a colleague actually had a stroke. We then find out that Jake is standing behind the doorway, hearing everything Annie is saying and is extremely hurt. I don't know about anyone else, but I am loving this farce!

Jake comes home to find Kevin still in his bed watching TV. He's upset because the "fabric of [their] lives, is in fact, the fabric of [their] lies." Jake wants their relationship to be built on truth and honesty, but more importantly wants to win the fight.

Gil, Dennah, Kay, Laguna and Gary all go out together and we find out that Gary and Laguna are actually married and in an open relationship. The plot thickens! Kay and Dennah are pretty disgusted at the whole situation, but Gil seems pretty comfortable with it until the girls drag him away. The silver lining is that Gil can finally date again! As Dennah walks out of the restaurant, she sees her car getting towed. No more diplomatic immunity.

Jake waits for Annie to come home in order to fight again, but she walks in and apologizes for getting so upset. He then responds by telling her that it was her dad who watching it all along. They kiss and make up, and decide to watch the finale because they insist that neither one of them has seen it. We then see Kevin and Kevin, Laguna and Gary, and Gil, Kay, and Dennah all watching the finale. All is well and we have another happy ending...see what I did there?
