'Lost' Actors Garcia, Grace to Reunite on CALIFORNICATION Episode

Maggie Grace (Lost) has signed on as a guest star for at least eight episodes of the new season of CALIFORNICATION playing “Faith,” a groupie who develops an unconventional relationship with Hank Moody (series star and executive producer David Duchovny). Fellow Lost co-star Jorge Garcia will make an appearance in one episode as an old contact from Faith’s past, marking a reunion of sorts for the two actors. In addition, Tim Minchin, the wildly popular international musical comedian, will guest star as “Atticus Fetch,” a David Bowie-style notorious rocker in eight episodes. Production on the sixth season’s 12 episodes began last month and the new season will premiere in early 2013 on SHOWTIME.

Best known for her SAG Award-winning work as “Shannon” on Lost, Grace’s film credits include Taken and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and 2. This fall, she will star in Taken Two opposite Liam Neeson, and the third installment of The Twilight Saga– Breaking Dawn – Part 3. On CALIFORNICATION, Grace will take on “Faith,” a once innocent Catholic school girl who, when exposed to the carnal pleasures of rock and roll, falls head-over-heels in love with the music and the men who make it – but while never losing her religion. After spending years on the road with various bands, she’s become a muse to some of music’s hottest rockers and may add Hank to that list when their unlikely friendship blossoms into something more.

International comedy star Tim Minchin takes on the role of “Atticus Fetch,” a mad-as-a-hatter rock star who will write the music for the Broadway production of A Crazy Little Thing Called Love, a film whose screenplay was adapted from Hank’s hit novel, God Hates Us All. Fetch enlists the ever-cynical Hank to collaborate on the project, which he calls “…a rock opera about love conquering all.” The Australian-British comedian is well known around the world for his musical comedy routines, sold-out live shows and best-selling comedy CDs.

CALIFORNICATION stars Duchovny in his Golden Globe® Award-winning role as hedonistic novelist Hank Moody who is co-parenting his college-aged daughter Becca (Madeleine Martin), while still carrying a torch for her mother, his ex-girlfriend and muse Karen (Natascha McElhone). His best friends are his agent Charlie (Evan Handler) and Charlie’s ex-wife Marcy (Pamela Adlon). The series is created and executive produced by Tom Kapinos and executive produced by Duchovny.

Grace tweeted a photo (above) of her with Lost co-star Garcia on set with the comment, "Cue music: "reunited & it feels so goood" ?#lost? reunion @Jorgegarcia & i join forces in upcoming ?#Californication? ep!"
