Longhorn Network Sits Down with Coach Herman in New Weekly Magazine Show

Longhorn Network debuts a new weekly magazine show Thursday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. CT, titled Longhorn Extra This Week. The show will be hosted by Lowell Galindo and Alex Loeb and the first episode features a sit-down interview with the new Texas Football Head Coach Tom Herman. Dec. 8's show also includes a conversation with Texas running back D'Onta Foreman, who recently declared for the 2017 NFL Draft.

"Longhorn Network has been recognized both regionally and nationally year-after-year for the caliber of our storytelling," said senior coordinating producer Tom McCollum. "This summer we noted our intent to add a magazine show to THE LINEUP and Longhorn Extra This Week allows us an opportunity to further highlight the incredible athletes and coaches at Texas with weekly appointment viewing."

Longhorn Extra This Week will air every Thursday night throughout the winter and spring sport seasons with a focus on UT stories and features.
