TVGuide reports that Lindsay Lohan was arrested early this morning in downtown Manhattan after her SUV allegedly hit a pedestrian. The actress was picked up for fleeing the scene of the accident and causing injury.

According to the report, Lohan was pulling her Porsche Cayenne into an alleyway between the Maritime and Dream hotels around 12:30 a.m. when she allegedly hit the leg of a 34-year-old man. The pedestrian was taken to Bellevue Hospital complaining of leg pain.

TMZ reported that one of Lohan's passengers got out of the SUV to look for damage before Lohan and her friends went inside the hotel. Once the party entered the hotel, a witness called police and Lohan was arrested at approximately 2:30 a.m.

Reports indicate that the actress was given a desk-appearance ticket, released from police custody and must appear in court at a later date. Police said alcohol was not involved in the incident, but it still could be considered a violation of Lohan's probation due to a prior jewelry theft case. If it can be proven that the actress lied about the accident, her probation could be revoked.
