Legendary Argentine Guitarist and Composer Juan Falu at Americas Society in NY

In his Music of the Americas debut, legendary Argentine guitarist and composer Juan Falú presents a solo recital. Throughout his long performing and recording career, Falú has revealed a deep understanding of the music of his homeland, expanding from the roots to new horizons imbued with a unique capacity for improvisation. With special guest Federico Díaz.

His compositions for guitar delve deep into the roots of Argentine music and folklore. This event is part of the MetLife Foundation Music of the Americas concert series and made possible by the generous support of Presenting Sponsor Metlife Foundation. The Spring 2018 Music program is also supported in part by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and The Augustine Foundation.

The concert is FREE for Americas Society and Young Professionals of the AmericasMembers and Hunter College Students. Admission is $20 for non-members. $10 tickets will be available at the door for students and seniors with ID.
