Latino ROMEO AND JULIET Drama Series In the Works at FOX

Deadline reports that FOX is showing commitment to a new Latino drama series written and executive produced by Eduardo Cisneros and Jason Shuman.
The project is described as "a modern Romeo and Juliet tale set against the backdrop of Los Angeles' new Latino wealth in the music and radio industry."
The untitled project will not be the only project featuring the star-crossed lovers in the upcoming development season. It will be competing against ABC's Still Star-Crossed, a Romeo And Juliet sequel drama which is based on a book from SCANDAL co-executive producer Heather Mitchell.
