President Trump shared that he will be willing to testify under oath for the federal investigation into Russia's election interference. This came on the same day as news that the President had wanted to fire special counsel Robert Mueller in June. Last night, late night hosts Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel weighed in on the latest news in their opening monologues!

On last night's LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT, President Trump told reporters he was 'looking forward' to his interview with Robert Mueller. So is Stephen Colbert!

On last night's TONIIGHT SHOW, Jimmy Fallon imagined the moments after Trump said he would testify under oath for his viewers during his monologue. "Trump turned to his lawyers and said, 'Relax, I'll have my fingers crossed the whole time,'" he joked.

On last night's JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE, even without Trump in the US, things remained exciting with a report that Donald and Melania unsuccessfully asked the Guggenheim in New York to loan them a painting by Vincent van Gogh and Vice President Mike Pence tweeting a picture with a very white White House intern class. The day ended with a bombshell story from the New York Times reporting that Donald Trump ordered White House Counsel Don McGahn to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
