Breaking Glass Pictures is releasing the controversial Marfa Girl in theaters and VOD (All cable providers, iTunes, Amazon Instant, Google Play, etc) this spring. Marfa Girl was written and directed by renowned filmmaker Larry Clark, known for his award-winning films Kids, Bully, and Ken Park. The film stars Adam Mediano, Drake Burnette, Mercedes Maxwell, and Indigo Rael.

The new film from visionary director Larry Clark follows Adam, a directionless 16-year-old living in the working class US/Mexico border town of Marfa, Texas, and his sexual relationships with his TEENAGE girlfriend, twenty something neighbor, aggressive local artist and HIGH SCHOOL teacher, while an unhinged, misogynistic border patrol agent watches over the neighborhood. What ensues is a web of sex, drugs, and violence as the Latino skater punks adjust to their gritty, aimless life in the dead end town.

Marfa Girl made its world premiere at the 2012 Rome Film Festival and took home the Marcus Aurelius Award for Best Film, with The Hollywood Reporter raving, "Larry Clark delivers another visually potent overdose of drug taking, copulating and in one instance, spanking."

Marfa Girl will open in New York City and Los Angeles on March 27. On April 3 the film will also open in the following cities: Austin, Denver, Tulsa, Philadelphia, Chicago, Portland, San Francisco, Dallas, Cleveland, and Seattle.
