PEOPLE reports the joyous news that LATE NIGHT host Seth Meyers and his wife Alexi Ashe Meyers welcomed their first child, a son, on Sunday, March 27th.

No details have been revealed as to the the name, height and weight of the new arrival, but the 42-year-old former SNL star is expected to share more info on the baby boy during Tuesday night's broadcast.

Earlier in March, Meyers shared his excitement over the new addition with PEOPLE, saying, "I'm most looking forward to seeing who it looks like, that's the first thing out of the gate." He added, "Although ... a lot of people have said my wife and I look alike, so I think that's the one thing we know, is that the child will look like us. If not, there's a real problem."
