LATE LATE SHOW WITH JAMES CORDEN Matches Its Highest Local Ratings Since May 2015

THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN averaged 1.5 in the overnight metered markets, matching its Feb. 15, 2016 broadcast as its highest rated regularly scheduled local rating since May 20, 2015. In households, THE LATE LATE SHOW was up +67% from last year while jumping +100% in adults 18-49 (0.4) in the 25 local people meter markets, according to Nielsen metered market ratings for Tuesday, March 7.

Nationally, THE LATE LATE SHOW is averaging 1.34 million viewers this season, up +5% from last year. Tonight, Samuel L. Jackson will act out his entire film career with James Corden. Other guests include January Jones and a musical performance by Sting.

Each week night, James Corden invites the audience to join in on the fun as the Emmy Award-winning THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH JAMES CORDEN features a mix of celebrity guests, musical acts, games and sketches. Corden differentiates his show by giving a peek behind-the-scenes into the green room, bringing all of his guests out at once and lending his musical and acting talents to various sketches. Additionally, bandleader Reggie Watts and the house band provide Corden with original, improvised music throughout the show. Since Corden took the reins as host in March 2015, the show has quickly become known for generating buzzworthy viral videos, such as Carpool Karaoke.
