Entertainment Weekly writes that Kristen Stewart is the first American actress to win France's Cesar Award. The ceremony was held tonight, February 20.

Stewart received the honor for her supporting role in Olivier Assayas' CLOUDS OF SILS MARIA, which premiered at Cannes in 2014. CLOUDS OF SILS MARIA was nominated for six Cesar Awards.

CLOUDS OF SILS MARIA stars Juliette Binoche and Chloë Grace Moretz.

When she's cast as the older lover in a romantic lesbian drama opposite an upstart young STARLET (Moretz), an established middle-aged actress (Binoche) is overcome with personal insecurities and professional jealousies-all while sexual tension simmers between her and her personal assistant (Stewart).

Stewart, best known for her portrayal of 'Bella Swan' in the TWILIGHT films, has also appeared on the big screen in STILL ALICE, SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN, THE RUNAWAYS, JUMPER and more.
