Deadline reports exclusively that Academy Award winner Kevin Spacey is in final talks to join the upcoming drama BABY DRIVER, starring Ansel Elgort, John Hamm, Jamie Foxx and Lily James. The actor has also inked a deal to star in James Cox, BILLIONAIRE BOYS CLUB also featuring Elgort along with Taron Egerton.

Baby Driver centers on "a crime boss who coerces a young, talented getaway driver (Elgort) to work for him. The kid relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best but must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom."

Spacey would portray the boss of the crew, described as "a veteran criminal who has worked his way up the ladder to bigger and bigger scores with a stable of go-to professionals."

Billonaire Boys Club tells "the true-life tale of Joe Hunt, who built an investment pool that made him the center of attention in L.A. in the 1980s. It also was built on fraud and schemes, and Hunt ended up murdering a Beverly Hills high-roller whose investment didn't pan out." Spacey would take on the role of Ron Levin, "who represents the smart money and the fast lifestyle, rubbing elbows at Spago with Andy Warhol."

Spacey will next be seen on the big screen opposite Michael Shannon in Elvis And Nixon opposite Michael Shannon. Filming of Season 4 of Netflix's House Of Cards is also currently underway for a 2016 premiere. As BWW reported in August, the Broadway vet is planning his return to the Great White Way in a stage adaptation of director George Clooney's 2005 film GOOD NIGHT, AND GOOD LUCK. Spacey last appeared on Broadway in 2007's A MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN, directed by Howard Davies.
