Acting gives Keanu Reeves a sense of "freedom" he tells Tracy Smith in an interview for CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD to be broadcast May 24 (9:00 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network.

The star of such films as "The Matrix" and "Speed" shares with Smith the pleasure he gets from acting and from operating the motorcycle company he co-founded.

On the acting front, Reeves has gone full-throttle ever since he appeared in a Toronto High School production of "Romeo & Juliet."

"Performing or acting had a sense of freedom to it, a sense of pleasure," Reeves tells Smith. "It was fun. But then, also, the places that you could go in that and what you could say."

These days when Reeves is not at work on a film he's working with Arch Motorcycles, a custom motorcycle company in Los Angeles, which produces bikes that sell for $78,000.

"I enjoy riding motorcycles," Reeves says. "I love how they look, how they smell, how they feel."

He got involved after buying one of the custom motorcycles for himself in 2011. Arch Motorcycles is not a vanity project either, says co-founder Gard Hollinger. Reeves is far more involved than just slapping his name on the door.

"He's the ultimate test rider, too, because he rides so much," Hollinger says. "Anything that can be broken, he'll break it."

Reeves tells Smith he's as committed to Arch Motorcycles as he is any acting role.

"I'm all in," Reeves says.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
