Kathy Griffin to Guest Star on NBC's WHITNEY

As first reported on TVGuide.com, comedian Kathy Griffin is set to guest star on an upcoming episode of NBC's WHITNEY sometime in early 2012.
The comedian, who has made recent guest star appearances on Glee, Ugly Betty and Drop Dead Diva, will play the role of 'Lindsay' who works with Roxanne, Whitney's friend. When Whitney is hired to be Roxanne's new assistant, she attempts to get on Lindsay's good side.
Griffin recently tweeted from the set of WHITNEY, "Having a blast doin a guest spot on the @Whitneycummings show. Planning on stealing her wardrobe."
Griffin is no stranger to TV sitcoms. Earlier in her career she starred opposidte Brooke Shields in the show 'Suddenly Susan'.
