Kate Beckinsale is Back to Reprise Her Role in UNDERWORLD 5
The Hollywood Reporter reports that Kate Beckinsale will be returning to the UNDERWORLD franchise to reprise her vampiric role as Selene in UNDERWORLD 5.
The movie will be directed by Anne Foerster, the first female director of the action-horror franchise. The script was written by Cory Goodman and while details are yet to be known, the plot is said to FOCUS on a younger and new generation of werewolves and vampires who are fighting in a battle between supernatural races.
Theo James will also be reprising his role in UNDERWORLD 5.
Beckinsale can be seen in the upcoming supernatural thriller THE DISAPPOINTMENTS ROOM as well as Whit Stillman's Jane Austen adaptation of LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP.
UNDERWORLD 5 will begin shooting this October in Prague.
