Karah Donovan Joins Season Conclusion Of CBS Dream Team Hit THE INSPECTORS

Actress Karah Donovan joins in the stormy Season Finale episode of the hit CBS Saturday morning children's drama series, THE INSPECTORS, scheduled to air on May 12th.

Set in Washington, D.C. and inspired by real cases handled by the United States Postal Inspection Service, THE INSPECTORS follows Preston Wainwright (Bret Green), a determined disabled teen, as he interns for his U.S. Postal Inspector mom, Amanda (Jessica Lundy) and her partner Mitch (Terry Serpico). Together, they solve crimes ranging from Internet scams, identity and mail theft, to consumer fraud and much more as part of the nation's oldest federal law enforcement agency. Donovan joins in the action as concerned mother, Mary Fox, in a season finale episode not to be missed.

Donovan was excited at the opportunity to work on the celebrated series, adding "Since the show was shot in Charleston, SC, the southern hospitality on THE INSPECTORS made it one of my favorite sets to work on. Everyone was so welcoming and professional, which made them all a blast to work with."

In recent years, Donovan has been building a solid resume in Hollywood landing on numerous television shows, including the recurring role as 'Bethany' on Hart of Dixie. This fiery sweet redhead has also appeared on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Rizzoli & Isles, 90210 and recurred on NBC's long-running daytime series, Day of Our Lives. Behind the scenes, Donovan has been creating and starring in her own projects. Currently, she is in-production on the mid-1800's period drama, Heartwood, sharing "Expressing myself artistically in every aspect of filmmaking is not only thrilling, but hugely rewarding."

Before pursuing a career in Acting, Donovan was a Weather Broadcaster for AccuWeather, presenting the weather nationally and locally, as well as live hits for Bloomberg Television. During this time, she also conducted special interviews for ABC's national programs, GOOD MORNING AMERICA and ABC WORLD NEWS Tonight, in addition to writing, producing and hosting two short segments about entertainment news and weather-related events.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Donovan was Valedictorian of her high school graduating class. She went on to graduate in the top 2% from Penn State University, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from the prestigious Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications. Donovan is a dog, beach and sun loving actress, who values her family and friends while diligently and fervently pursing her passion.
