KATIE Finishes No. 1 Among Freshmen Syndicated Talk Shows for 21st Week

Based on National ratings for the week of January 28, 2013, "Katie" came in as the No. 1 Syndicated freshman talk show for the 21st consecutive week (on every week since its debut), besting runner-up "StEve Harvey" by double-digit margins in Households (+25% - 2.0 rating vs. 1.6 rating) and Total Viewers (+15% - 2.576 million vs. 2.246 million).

"Katie" equaled its highest-rated week ever among Women 25-54 (1.1 rating).

Of 18 Syndicated talk shows currently on the market, freshman "Katie" is among the top-tier across key measures: Households (No. 6 - 1.9 rating), Total Viewers (No. 6 - 2.528 million) and Women 25-54 (No. 6 - 1.0 rating). Overall, "Katie" is TV's strongest new syndie talker in 3 years - since "Dr. Oz" in 2009.

"Katie" is executive-produced by Katie Couric and Michael Morrison and is distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television. Co-executive producers are Kathy Samuels, Michael Bass, Matt Strauss and Ethan Nelson and the program is directed by Joseph Terry.
