As first reported on EWonline, Jon Hamm will make a guest star appearance on Adult Swim's comedy CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL. The actor will portray the hospital's founder, Arthur Children's in a series of flashbacks from the 1930's.

In the episode, titled “Attention Staff,” Dr. Blake Downs (Rob Corddry) and Dr. Owen Maestro (Rob Huebel) attempt to solve the mystery of the identity of the never-seen P.A. announcer rumored to be either the ghost of a child Childrens killed when the hospital functioned as an orphanage, or perhaps Childrens himself.

The show's creator/executive producer Rob Corddry joked, "...working with Jon is as pleasant as you would imagine. However, the women on set tend to put a little extra effort into their morning beauty routines. Lots of extra rouge, teeth whitening, bows in the hair, etc.”

Hamm is best known for his role as Don Draper on AMC's hit series 'Mad Men.' The actor previously appeared in 'Children's Hospital' in the role of Arthur’s son, Derrick, in seasons 2 and 3. The “Attention Staff” episode is set to premiere during the show’s fourth season, which begins August 9.
