John Cleese to Make Wynn Las Vegas Debut
Emmy Award-winning actor, comedy icon and author John Cleese will make his Wynn Las Vegas debut this fall with An Evening With John Cleese. Cleese will appear at the Encore Theater for two nights only, Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 at 8 p.m. Tickets for both performances go on sale Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m. PDT.
Cleese gained notoriety for his involvement in the celebrated Monty Python television and film series, including Monty Python's Flying Circus, Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Monty Python's Life of Brian. From there, he moved into the role of "Basil Fawlty" in the hit British TV series, Fawlty Towers, receiving both fan and critic acclaim. In 1988, he starred in and co-wrote A Fish Called Wanda, and has also since appeared in both the James Bond and Harry Potterfilm series'.
