Janeane Garofalo Cast in New CBS Medical Drama

Actress and comedienne Janeane Garofalo has joined the cast of a yet-to-be-titled new CBS medical drama, reports Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello.

The drama helmed by producer John Wells will focus on a team of medical professionals who travel the U.S. helping those in need. Garofalo will play the role of 'Angel', the chief nurse and operations manager.

Janeane Garofalo was most recently part of the rotating cast, scheduled to appear through February 28, of the Off-Broadway's 'hit Love, Loss, and What I Wore' alongside Joanna Gleason, Carol Kane, June Diane Raphael and Caroline Rhea.
