The Hollywood Reporter writes that Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody (Juno) is writing the script for PRODIGY, a teen drama for Fox via Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage's Fake Empire.

Read the original report here.

PRODIGY follows a 16-year-old homeschooled genius who enrolls at the local high school hoping to experience "normal" teen life and gets wrapped up with the "wild crowd".

Cody is currently working on her talk show pilot ME TIME WITH DABILO CODY for TBS. Her TV work includes Showtime's United States of Tara and Alex + Amy for ABC, as well as two episodes for Childrens Hospital.

She both wrote and directed her new film Paradise. Cody's other screenwriting credits include Juno, which won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, Jennifer's Body and Young Adult.
