In an all new episode of the Emmy(R) Award-winning series SUPER SOUL SUNDAY, Oprah Winfrey sits down with inspirational TV host and best-selling author Iyanla Vanzant to talk about her life's journey and to give a glimpse of what's to come on her new series, "Iyanla, Fix My Life." The revealing two-part "Super Soul Sunday" interview "Oprah & Iyanla Vanzant: Soul-to-Soul" will air on two consecutive Sundays, September 9 and September 16 at 11 a.m. ET/PT on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

Vanzant's no-nonsense advice has reached audiences around the world, but many don't know her personal story. From a life born into poverty and abuse, Vanzant became a mother at sixteen, survived her daughter's tragic death from colon cancer, climbed out of debt and recovered from the brink of suicide. Vanzant is the best-selling author of a total of 16 books, including the latest "Peace From Broken Pieces: How to Get Through What You're Going Through," and built a grassroots following by selling her books out of the back of her car, which eventually led to regular appearances on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

In a surprising and emotional one-on-one conversation with Winfrey, Vanzant opens up like never before and talks about her painful, but triumphant journey and how she has been able to transform her personal pain into profound spiritual life lessons that she intends to use to inspire millions.
