IDOL's Casey Abrams to Sing Nat'l Anthem at Mets Citi Field

Season 10 AMERICAN IDOL contestant Casey Abrams will be performing the National Anthem at tonight's home Mets game at Citi Field. The singer will release his debut CD, which includes a duet with co-contestant Haley Reinhart, on June 26th.

Abrams shared the news on his Twitter account posting, “Just in : @IAmCaseyAbrams will be performing the National Anthem in a VERY 'CASEY' way @ tomorrow’s @yankees vs @mets game! ?#subwayseries”

The Idol alum joins a host of former contestants who have taken the stage to sing the National Anthem at a ballpark. Season 4's Constantine Maroulis recently appeared at "Bombers Boomer Broadway Softball Classic,” at Yankee Stadium while Season 9's Didi Benami, sang the anthem for the Los Angeles Dodgers. This year's fan favorite Heejun Han performed at Citi Field earlier in the season.
