Halle Berry to Produce, Star in Indie Comedy MOTHER?

Variety reports that Halle Berry will star in and produce the upcoming indie comedy MOTHER, which is aiming to begin production next year.

MOTHER follows a runaway bride who jilts her mobster fiancé at the altar and pretends to be a young man's mother to stay undercover.

Emilio Ferrari for Entertainment 7, Vincent Cirrincione (Berry's manager) and Chris Miller will also produce the picture.

Berry will next be seen in X-Men: Days of Future Past. Berry's past film credits include The Call, Cloud Atlas, Dark Tide, New Year's Eve, Frankie & Alice, Things We Lost in the Fire, Perfect Stranger, X-Men: The Last Stand, Catwoman, Gothika, X2, Die Another Day, X-Men and more.
